I thought it looks related but I noticed the difference in the flowers. Thanks, I told you many times by now - you are the best!

Yes, Blue salvia is just a generic common name. We use a lot of this in the gardens at work. The cultivar we use most is 'Victoria'. Your other spotting I think is more of a straight species.
