Unfortunately, this one wasn't in fruit. Thanks for the link, I'll look over that and try to narrow the species down a bit.
Ribes and Grossularia are difficult genera to I.D. at the species level. You'll need flowers or fruit in order to make a determination. The USDA distribution maps might help you narrow down which species are found in Ohio: http://plants.usda.gov/java/profile?symb...
