Large grasshopper, approximately 5" long, black & yellow

Habitat:

Found along the Escambia riverbank.

Notes:

High concentration of this species where I shot this today.

Must be wild to have a lot of these big guys jumping around. They are huge but not quite 5", just under 3" for an adult female. Cool first spotting Kristie.
