Large green moth.

Habitat:

Inside of a pair of pants left out on a lawn.

Notes:

This is easily the most beautiful moth I have ever seen- Luna moths eat your hearts out!

Would probably go with Dandoucette and Amberlundeen on this being a Pandora Sphinx Moth. Just my two cents worth :-)

Lovely specimen and great photo. I have one I found dead in my garage that I keep under glass to display, because it is so lovely. Mine is a mossier green than yours, which is amazing.

I think I prefer the Sphinx moths to the Saturniids. They're just as beautiful, if not more so. They're just not as big, so you have to search for their beauty instead of having it fly into your face like the huge Saturniids!

Looks to me like a Green oleander hawk moth, but it is not found in the USA so I doubt it is one
