Five-lined skink

Plestiodon fasciatus

Description:

Adult males are dull brown with five lines on their back (hence the common name), while juvenile males have a blue tail and a blue body color.

Notes:

I'm not quite sure on the scientific name for this species, as I've found conflicting names, so I'm going to stick with this one for now. Found at Cedar Bog State Nature Preserve.

Strange. I'll upload the first picture again and hopefully that will fix it.

The link to the first seems to be indeed broken.
Best try to reload and delete the broken first.
Maybe something went wonky during the upload.
