Oriental Whip Snake

Description:

This elegant snake is arboreal and lives in bushes and trees. It is common in many of our wild places, including urban gardens and coastal areas. But is it well camouflaged and often overlooked as a green vine. Indeed, it is also called the Green vine snake. It is active during the day as well as at night. It is found throughout Southeast Asia. It was previously known as Dryophis prasinus.

Habitat:

They are primarily diurnal and arboreal, living in humid rainforests. Their diet consists mainly of lizards, but sometimes frogs and rodents are also consumed. They feed exclusively on fish, striking its prey from branches overhanging water. Ahaetulla venom is not considered to be dangerous to humans, but serves to cause paralysis in their fast moving prey choices

I found this guy in a nature Park in Singapore. He was found by luck, as I turned round he was hanging there of a branch looking right at me just waiting to have his photo taken.
