Description:

I found this ant in two different colors. This is brown and the other is black. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/719... . I don´t know if they are from the same species.

Brown & black Odontomachus are probably different species. This red one is likely related to true O. brunneus but may actually be undescribed. The black one might be O. haematodus or O. bauri, both are common in Brazil.
