Description:

Spotted at the Maquipucuna wildlife reserve, Choco-Andean region of Ecuador. I'm not sure of the species, there are many types of blue morpho butterflies in the region.

I think you are safe with your ID. The other one with white stripe is Caligo uranus, which is, however, probably not found in South America. But for be 100% sure you need a dorsal shot, which is quite tricky to get in Caligos.
