I thought these were hydrangeas but my housekeeper says they are Sesame and that she uses them to make kimchi instead of the typical cabbage.

Okay - I think this may be some form of Agastache - either Agastache parvifolia or Agastache rugosa - I'm still waiting for it to bloom though.
Not so far - She said she would show them to me when they flower so I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Hmmmm, interesting. Has it flowered at all?
Her husband assures me it's not hydrangeas - when you break the leaves it smells and tastes slightly like liquorice -but he says that after you cook it that flavor goes away.
It does look like Hydrangea. I guess you will know when it flowers.
