Moon Jellyfish

Aurelia aurita

Description:

I believe these to be Moon Jellies... please help correct me if I am wrong!

Habitat:

Central Oregon Coast

Notes:

On that particular weekend in 2005 the beaches were literally covered with these jellies. You can see in the middle photo, there were thousands of them littering the beaches. I had never seen so many on the beach!

Thanks, S Frazier... I just figured they would fall into that category, since they were sea creatures. Appreciate you're input and you re-categorizing for me!

Hello. I'll move this to the "other" category for you because although called such, jelly fish are not really fish. Cheers
