Armeria spp.
Sea pinks, or thrift belong to the Armeria genus of plants, most commonly found in the Mediterranean regions but with one species- A. maritima widespread along the coasts of the UK. Flowers are small and grow in globular clumps and the plant rises typically 8-10 cm off the ground.
