Description:

Herbaceous perennial(?). 3 to 6 ft tall. Spring bloom. Leaves opposite, simple, lanceolate to ovate, serrated margins. Stems squarish. Seeds less than 1/16" long, brown, two dozen per "pod"

Habitat:

Woodland, part-sun exposure, sandy soil

Notes:

Appears dormant by august 21
