Giant Anteater

Description:

The Giant Anteater has a diet consisting mainly of ants, termites, & grubs located via smell. It uses its large sharp claws to tear open hills, mounds, trees, etc, to expose these food sources. Its size is protection from many predators; its claws are used in defense against others such as jaguar & cougar. Spotted in Disney's Animal Kingdom.
