Altica oleracea

Description:

Altica oleracea is a species of leaf beetles belonging to the family Chrysomelidae, subfamily Galerucinae. It is found in most Europe. Larvae and adults of Altica oleracea are phytophagous, feeding on various plants, especially Onagraceae and Rosaceae species. Very dark blue to black beetle, without it's antenna about 2 mm.

Habitat:

Lush green, close to water.
