Small plant no others of this species near by. Leaves linear to lanceloate, margin entire, flowers on a stalk approximately 10cm hight, 6 petals yellow at base turning to mauve at the tips, stamen inside mauve coloured

Habitat:

open grass area, some leaf litter above open eucalypt forest, wet in winter, damp in spring
