A worldwide community photographing and learning about wildlife
Coreus marginatus
Large uniformally brown insect with a flattened abdomen. Common throughout Europe.
Credit to the bug! It's weird, I didn't really consider bugs interesting photo objects until recently. There are some pretty cool critters out there (All I need now is a decent macrolens!)
You've got some awesome pictures btw :)
Ashish, that's great, think I'll ID for this one: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/714... there. Thanks :)
Thanks guys! Appreciate it, now just need ID :) I find those stink bugs smell a bit like coriander/cilantro.. Which I also find ironic as I love coriander!
Definitely a shield bug which are sometimes called stink bugs.
Looks just like the one in this link but it's not ID'd to species.
