noodlebananas, the Broad-headed Skink is found in North America, not India. This skink is in the Genus Eutropis, I'm having trouble finding an exact species though because they are all super variable. Hopefully you can find it since I have given you the Genus.

It looks like it is a broad head skink :/ but, that is a really nice picture :)
