Mushroom

Description:

Having grown up in the land of abundant Morel Mushrooms, when I first saw these on May 1st 2011 growing near Philadelphia, I thought they might be Morel mushrooms. But upon closer inspection I'm sure they're not. But unsure what type of mushroom they are. Ideas?

Habitat:

Growing in pine needles on my back door step.

Notes:

Too small and too light I think for a Morel mushroom.
