Acer Palmatum
A purple leafed tree that grow up and out usually described as a bush. It produces sap. It has one base but towards the bottom and all the way up it branches out further and further.
Any where that can support deciduous trees. Usually places in woods but more towards rural areas due to its color and its ability to hide things due to its bushy looks.
It is weight supporting and it seems to attract a lot of birds and also is very easy to get under for animals who burrow in the ground.

The photo is really small but it doesn't look like a Japanese Maple.
