Jumping Spider

Salticidae Sp.

Description:

Found this little fellow while it was having its lunch. A very commonly found jumping spider of Bangladesh. Size: About 5-6mm. The prey was larger than the length of its own body. Probably an immature female sp.

Habitat:

Tropical forests and gardens. Grasslands.

Notes:

Seen this Sp. quite a few times but this was the first instance that I was able to photograph it with its prey.
