Big seed pods, for a small plant eh?
I'm wondering if it might be a form of Ornithocephalus (Sphyrostylis) ecuadoriensis. This is the closest I can get so far but I'm not really convinced.

Nunca he visto una orquidea completamente rojo asi. Ademas, esa forma que tiene es mut linda. ¡Que ilusion que me hace!

Thats the usual color of this plant, I've seen it in other trees and is the same. Yeah Im intrigued tooo

It would be very interesting to know if this is the usual colour of this species, or a flush of anthocyanins in reaction to stronger light received since the tree fell.
Don't think it is an Ornithocephalus as the inflorescence on all the species I've seen has been very dense and distichous.

I'm very intrigued by this plant!

Wow, that's quite a colour and a splendid little plant!
The leaves look like Ornithocephalus. Did you get a shot inside the flowers?
