Mexican Spiny-tailed Iguana II

Ctenosaura pectinata

Description:

I could not help but add a secons spotting of mexican iguana. This was made in the beach of Isla Mujeres. She patiently waited for our scraps of sandwich along with a bunch of birds which she made sure to keep on bay :-)

Habitat:

In this case, beautiful white sand beaches, conveniently placed one step from our hotel :-)

There are so many all over that it gives plenty opportunities for nice pictures..even more if you are eating :-) BTW, check the baby, is so nicely green..I did not know, I thought I had a different species of iguana at first..
