Diamondback Rattlesnake

Description:

grey body with brown-grey diamond shape pattern surrounded by light grey across dorsal side which is surrounded by light. The rattle at the end of his tail is tucked inside so it cannot be seen in this picture.

Habitat:

Rocks, Sonoran desert, on roads at night to keep warm because it's a cold-blooded species.

Notes:

I'm not his best friend, but I love that he eats pack rats!
