Ephemerella invaria

Ephemerella invaria / male larva

Description:

This larva was not reared but was dissected and matched to historical profile Dr Luke Jacobus agrees with my findings. The key to telling a male and female Ephemerella larva is the red upper portion of the compound eyes. If you look at the male adults the upper area of the compound eyes are red.
