Spotted high fin pleco

Pterygoplichthys gibbiceps

Description:

Very smart, mostly nocturnal, loves algea and will protect its self by eating other fish that beat up on it.

Habitat:

70-80 degree water with coverage an aeration, nocturnal so mostly comes out at night or when the tank light is off. Needs rocks and drift wood for scraping and gravel to bury him self under if it is uncomfortable.

Notes:

4 - 6 inchs length, 1.5 - 2 inch width an will grow up 18-20 inches long.

there are many kinds of plecos ranging from sturgen to leppard plecos to mine (spotted high fin) an to just the basic pleco which is very bland in color.
