Thank you, it is a young fern and a very strange one too. Its the only one of its kind among all the other plants here and another one always springs up at the same spot after the grass (including the fern) has been cut.
This is lovely, I can see why you were drawn to it. My hunch would be that it's a young fern but maybe someone else will recognise it for sure.
