Bald faced hornet

Description:

Insects are more black and white than yellow. You can see two of the wasps in the pic but they are small. In the second picture, you can see the thorax (butt :0) sticking out of the comb of one and the other is on the ledge area.

That's a huge nest! Might be hard to ID with seeing any of the former inhabitants but my guess is Bald-faced Hornet. I saw a similar nest.
