Unnamed spotting

auntnance123 : These are from park near my home as you can see in the map when you enlarge it. You can it's right in the downtown of Taipei city, just like the Central Park of NYC.
These birds stay in the lake inside the park (Da An Forest Park).

Also, note the yellow base of the lower mandible.

I believe you're right, Liam--it's that distinctive red eye.
