Changeable Lizard

Calotes Versicolor

Description:

This lizard was just resting around the garden when I took these pictures, didn't even blink an eye when I went close to it for these shots. These are fairly common - I've seen them many times lounging around garden trees. I don't know it's scientific name though.

Habitat:

Around gardens, trees...

Hi Akshat, this is actually a very common Changeable lizard or garden lizard as it is known. It is actually a distant relative of the Iguana.... Nice picture anyway :)
