“The fungus is surely a Ramaria in subg. Echinoramaria. It is quite close to R. zippelii (= R. grandis). Spores are thick-walled and with enormous spines. Look for basidia – they should be golden-colored and 2-sterigmate. The flesh of the fruitbody should slowly turn brown when bruised. The fruitbody base should be white (below the ground).
