Thank you both! I thought they might be with the adults there but they didn't have all the legs. I'll update it now :)

Whoa! I've never seen early-instar millipedes, and had no idea they could look so superficially similar to collembola. You're right Latimeria, those look a lot like these critters too. Guess it's not as resolved as we thought. Very cool!

Are you sure about the, Kristal? The 3rd picture shows a millipede walking around, which leads me to think that they could be juvenile millipedes. See this page for more info: http://bugguide.net/node/view/168291.

Thank you Kristal! I've only seen one springtail before and it was an adult.
