Slime Mold

Description:

20-30cm area covered in small pink like balls , 3 different spots on the one log(rotting ) attached to white stalks , some seperated ones , starting to have no white stalk , like they are melting. moist and glutenous to touch . ball heads 1mm

Habitat:

moist rotting logs in the forest , rained a few days earlier , then 2 days of sunshine.

I have been doing some investigating on Flickr ..there is a lady kim fleming , has an entire album on myxomycetes...and have been reading as many posts as i can ..from what i have gathered...palepink/salmon/orange/brown ...is the order
