humpback whale

megaptera novaeangelie

This small humpback was first spotted in the area of Tadoussac in 2010 apparently without an adult, and seen again this season. After a naming contest within the workers of the industry, it has been baptized Blizzard, a name referring to the opaque white interior of it's fluke.
