SKINK (Mabuya sps)... could be a common grass skink but it wasn't that large sized.

If you check carefully This is Reddish than others find in Western ghats. Thisnis separate South Indian Sub specie. I do not find such Reddish Skink here in Maharashtra.
Typical India ! It looks very much like our skinks but lovely bright colours. Wonderful.

Could be a Juvenile... normally E.carinata are big sized skinks. :) I am always confused between E.carinata, macularia, and bibronii..
