Thanks, Craig--for the ID and the kind comment. I had seen this flower while searching something else, but couldn't remember what or where to save my life.
@Ashish: these were in the wild, in a section of a small sanctuary reclaimed as a part of the Environmentally Endangered Lands Program.

This is gorgeous! Not that much like the Polygala we're used to here in Europe but then hardly surprising as apparently this is a Florida endemic! So cool, thanks for sharing it.
