Zamia furfuracea
Plant was approximately 2 meters high and 4 meters wide. The third photo shows some sort of dried-up fruiting bodies that were approximately 40 centimeters long.
Apparently this was a cultivated specimen, growing on the grounds of a biological station at the Laguna de la Mancha, along the coast of the Gulf of Mexico in the state of Veracruz in central Mexico.
