Urania fulgens
This is a day flying moth, we see them in huge numbers doing migrations. The moths can fly considerable distances over open water, such as in the Caribbean. Typically in the case of migration in Central America is that made from the Pacific Coast to the Caribbean coast. According to the literature these migrations are determined by cycles of high and low toxicity of the host plant Omphalea diandra.

Tortuguero is full of them, by the thousands
