Western Black Widow

Latrodectus hesperus

Description:

Juvenile spider with three diagonal stripes with tiny black spots. The orange on the abdomen helps separate this from the similar Brown Widow as does the shape of the stripe and the size of the black spots.

Habitat:

Garden in backyard.
