Description:

Sparse, evergreen shrub with gray & brown stems and dark leaves. This is a native plant that is endangered (see notes).

Habitat:

Grassy area along Lake Hodges trail.

Notes:

It is included in the CNPS Inventory of Rare and Endangered Plants on list 2.2 (rare, threatened, or endangered in CA; common elsewhere).
