Description:

Eleutherodactylus modestus (Spanish: Rana-chirriadora Dedos Chatos) is a species of frog in the Leptodactylidae family. It is endemic to Mexico. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry forests. It is threatened by habitat loss.

Habitat:

This species is known from the lowlands (700m asl or below) of southern Jalisco and Colima, Mexico, but is perhaps more widespread.
