Giant Green Anemone

Anthopleura xanthogrammica

Description:

A few anemones in a tide pool on the Oregon Coast. They can grow quite large and are very common in Oregon tide pools. I believe the little guy with pink tips is an Aggregating Anemone (Anthopleura elegantissima).

Habitat:

tide pools, rocky outcroppings, ocean
