Rough looking, this specimen was about 2 1/2 feet in length. Dark and very dark greens and brown. Very aggressive.

Habitat:

Found swimming in the water.

Notes:

I love Northern Water snakes. This one has some very vibrant and prominent markings. Beautiful picture.
