Seems like a huge spider. A bit frightening...Not sure If I would have the courage to get close enough to take the picture. Thanks for sharing.

I think there is another species that can be found in Victoria as well. Yours is certainly a female Nephilia species. Theres lots of info here http://www.brisbaneinsects.com/brisbane_...
