A little time ago I read an article about a bug that was destroying coconut plantations in Bahia, Brazil. And, of course, it was this weevil, wich was introduced accidentaly here, and now is an invasive species. Just remembered that.

no..no it really alive..here in samui island a lot of coconut trees die because of this creature.
