Approx 180mm long looking like a casuarina stick, brown.

Habitat:

Casuarina?

Notes:

Found on Muehlenbeckia against white stone wall. Wish I had known more about them then... but now we have martinl.

This is the most commonly found local stick insect around Melbourne. The very large cerci identify it clearly as there is no other species so endowed. This specimen is an adult female. This is the same as my recent listing. http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/819... I've added another pic. Titan sticks do occur in Victoria, but rarely. They are thicker, being the largest Australian species. They have large wings.
