An interesting plant on a tree (parasite?), there are no leaves, only stems but they serve as leaves. About 7 or 8 feet from the ground.

Cool. This looks like an orchid. Those thick green parts off the stem are the leaves. It's not parasitic, it's rooted to the tree, not getting any nutrients from the tree.
