Description:

The petals are colored yellow to red it has a crown of seed usually it comes in 3-5 sorrounding the petals from color green then turn to yellow and lastly to black. a name derived from the shape of the drupelet fruit.

Habitat:

These species are native to tropical woodlands of Africa, the Mascarenes and Asia.

Notes:

The common name was used by nurserymen who sold the plant in potted form. Within a short time, it became popular as a lucky plant, supposedly having magical charm which promotes financial success to the grower.
