Description:

Photo take in the a cave diving expedition in the jungle of Q,Roo This is a juvenile it was moving whit a his family searching for food on the top of the trees it was very exiting moment. Its one of the largest new world monkeys.

Habitat:

Find in subtropical and tropical environments. This species of spider monkey, a type of New World monkey, from Central America, parts of Mexico and possibly a small portion of Colombia. Its diet consists primarily of ripe fruit and it requires large tracts of forest to survive.

Notes:

The International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). considered this species to be endangered
