American Alligator (albino)

Alligator mississippiensis

Description:

American alligator specimen at the Tulsa Zoo. They had three of these, all of them albinos. I lived in Florida for a while and can say that while dangerous alligators get more of a bad rap than they should. Although the ablino form of this animal does look slightly demonic, I'm sure they're just as chill. Alligators enjoy marshmallows.

Habitat:

American alligators are found in the wild in the southeastern United States, from the Great Dismal Swamp in Virginia and North Carolina, south to Everglades National Park in Florida, and west to the southern tip of Texas. They are found in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas. They inhabit swamps, streams, rivers, ponds, and lakes.
