Hoya, Wax Plant, Porcelain Flower

Hoya carnosa

Description:

As the common name, Wax Plant, suggests, the flowers are waxy but soft. My plant is a very slow growing vine that lives in partial sun/shade. The flowers a soft pink color. This plant has flowered for the second time this year, in the same spot as the previous year - I am glad it did not 'dead head' this vine.

Notes:

If you are interested in growing this at home, or have one and are looking for care tips, the following websites have wonderful information. http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/432/... http://www.mollystropicalplants.com/hoya...

Hoya bella I believe. We used to sell a lot of these at a flower shop I once worked at. My mother-in-law keeps one as a houseplant.
